Should a book found to contain doctrinal discrepancies be burned or returned to the mosque?

You must return the book you borrowed, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The hand is responsible for what it has taken until it returns it," and he also said: "Return the trust to the one who entrusted you, and do not betray the one who betrayed you." It is not permissible to burn the book; instead, you must clarify the false issues within it with shar'i (Islamic legal) evidence.
