What is the ruling on a husband's statement, "This is a separation between us," if he meant by it "if you say" without uttering it, and does divorce occur if the wife speaks to her brother after this statement?

If the word "firaq" (separation) is a euphemism for divorce, then divorce does not occur by it except with the intention. And if the contingency is not connected to the pronouncement of divorce, then it holds no weight. It is advisable to present the matter to trustworthy scholars or a Sharia court.
