Are the following two formulas for the Tashahhud defective in meaning: "O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. And grant barakah to Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You granted barakah to Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious" and "O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim among the worlds. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious. And grant barakah to Muhammad, as You granted barakah to Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim among the worlds. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy and Glorious"? And what is the opinion of the Hanbalis regarding someone who makes a mistake in the formula of blessing the Prophet (peace be upon him)? Is it correct for the worshipper to go back after the word "Ibrahim" to say "Indeed, You are Praiseworthy," and is prostration of forgetfulness required in this case?
The question includes several matters:
1. All forms of sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, including the Abrahamic prayer (Salat al-Ibrahimiyyah), are correct.
2. Sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is obligatory in prayer according to the soundest opinion within the Hanbali school. The phrase "Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad" (O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad) is sufficient. If the worshiper makes a mistake in its form or omits part of it, their prayer is valid, and they are not required to perform the prostration of forgetfulness (sujood as-sahw).
3. "Allahumma salli" is written and pronounced without a "ya" (ي) after the "lam" (ل).
