Is it permissible to intend the ritual bath (ghusl) for major impurity (janabah) daily with the intention of reward, even without the presence of janabah?

The intention for ghusl (ritual bath) for someone who is not in a state of major ritual impurity (janabah) is invalid and yields no reward. It is permissible to combine the intention for wudu (ablution) with the regular ghusl to remove minor ritual impurity or to renew wudu. This combination will earn the reward of wudu, even if one does not rub the limbs during wudu according to the majority of scholars, in contrast to the Malikis and those who agree with them, who stipulate rubbing (ad-dalk) for both wudu and ghusl.
