What is the ruling on a person winning a religious competition in Ramadan as a result of his brother answering the questions and submitting his name, and is it permissible for him to take the money?

It is permissible to gift the work of a competition or a deserved prize to others, as long as it does not involve deception or a violation of the organizing body's conditions. Otherwise, it is not permissible, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Whoever cheats is not one of us," and his saying: "Muslims are bound by their conditions."
