What are the means of reminding oneself of Paradise to remain steadfast in its love, and is one rewarded for imagining Paradise before sleep?

Contemplating Paradise and its delights is permissible to raise one's spirits and avoid forbidden acts. However, a Muslim should not limit their thoughts to Paradise alone but should also remember Hell and its torment, combining fear and hope, which is the worship of prophets and righteous believers. To strengthen the remembrance of the Hereafter, a Muslim should strive for righteous companionship, attend lessons of knowledge, ponder the Qur'an, consistently visit graves and follow funeral processions, and persistently supplicate and complain to Allah. Nevertheless, there will inevitably be moments of weakness, tranquility, and permissible worldly needs.
