Is it permissible, in Islamic law, to accept a gift and an unregistered contract in the event of the donor's death?

If a gift fulfills the conditions for its validity and enforceability, ownership transfers from the giver to the recipient without requiring official registration. The most important conditions are that the gift is made immediately (not contingent on a future event), and that it is taken possession of and held by the recipient, enabling them to dispose of it.
