Is what I did correct and is my fast valid, in a case where I intended to make up a fast (qada') from the night, then after the dawn (Fajr) call to prayer, I found a small spot of blood, and I thought it was from a wound due to using a razor (istihdad), so I performed ghusl with the intention of only removing janabah and completed the fast?

Your fast is valid as long as the drop (of blood) is from the effect of a wound and is not considered menstruation by the majority of scholars, because the minimum duration of menstruation according to them is one day and one night. However, if you are certain that you were menstruating, then you must make up that day.
