Is it permissible to perform ghusl without washing the head, given the headaches the questioner suffers if she washes her head daily?

The ritual bath (ghusl al-janabah) is obligatory and entails washing the entire body with water, and the head is part of it. A sick person who would be harmed by using water or for whom it would be difficult is permitted to perform tayammum (dry ablution) instead of ghusl, as a concession and facilitation. If someone is able to wash part of their body but is unable to wash the rest, they should wash what they can and perform tayammum for the remainder. If washing the head causes severe harm (such as an unbearable headache), it is permissible to suffice with wiping it and performing tayammum for it, in accordance with His Almighty's saying: (So fear Allah as much as you are able). However, if the harm is bearable or treatable, the permission to forgo washing the head is not granted. The harm can be mitigated by using the least amount of water or by not undoing braids, and it is recommended to consult a doctor.
