Is it permissible for me to say "Ameen" after verses of supplication?
It is permissible for the reciter, both within and outside of prayer, to ask Allah for mercy upon passing by a verse of mercy, to seek refuge in Him from punishment upon passing by a verse of punishment, to glorify Him upon passing by a verse of glorification, and to ponder upon passing by a verse containing a parable. This is recommended for the Imam, the congregant, and the one praying alone, and the evidence for this is the action of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him.
