Is it permissible to invite the husband of the maternal aunt, who does not pray, to a wedding banquet, especially since he is a neighbor and will help host part of the wedding, taking into consideration the Hadith: "Do not accompany anyone but a believer, and let no one eat your food except a pious person"? And what are the guidelines for making the wedding in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet?

Abandoning prayer is one of the greatest sins. It is not permissible to associate with someone who abandons prayer except for the purpose of advising and inviting them [to prayer]. If they do not respond and their abandonment [of prayer] is a discipline, then they should be ostracized. The person who abandons prayer should be invited to the wedding feast to be advised and gently invited [to prayer], or by arranging a sermon for one of the preachers. As for the hadith: "Do not associate except with a believer, and let none eat your food except a pious person," it means prohibiting mixing with impious people in a way that compromises one's religion, not preventing kindness to others. As for the regulations of a wedding, what is required is to show joy with the drum (duff), voice, and chanting, without intermingling (ikhtilat) or using prohibited musical instruments.
