Is it permissible to make cheese using animal enzymes (proteases)?

If the substance mentioned is the well-known calf rennet, then there is no objection to it if it comes from an animal that is lawful to eat and has been ritually slaughtered (dhakāh) or is alive. However, if it comes from an animal that is unlawful to eat, or an impure animal, or a dead animal (maytah), then it is not permissible to use it due to its impurity.
