What are the rulings regarding the blood money (Diyya) due for the death of my two daughters because of my negligence, and is it permissible to suffice with my husband forgiving me of the Diyya, and who are the other parties who have the right to claim it? Does my continuous crying over my two daughters torment them? Does my self-blame and longing for my daughters in Paradise indicate a flaw in my faith? Is it true that deceased Muslim children are among the people of Paradise? What is the correct way to deal with obsessive thoughts related to God's essence? Does my feeling of the ephemeral nature of this world and my longing to meet God signify despair or feeling safe from God's deception? And how do we balance the love of God and the fear of Him, despite committing many sins?

Be patient in tribulation and certain of Allah's decree and destiny, for this world is a realm of trial. A believer must entrust their affairs to Allah and be optimistic about His grace. The verses of the Holy Quran reassure hearts and confirm that the friends of Allah will have no fear, nor will they grieve, and that Allah has ordained every affliction before it comes to pass. Everything that harms a Muslim, Allah expiates their sins through it. We must repel whispers and be content with Allah's decree.

Regarding the state of deceased children: authentic hadiths bring glad tidings that they enjoy bliss in Paradise under the care of Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and that they are the dragonflies of Paradise who intercede for their parents.

If the mother was accidentally responsible for her daughter's death, she must offer expiation (fasting for two consecutive months), which is obligatory and cannot be waived. Her 'Aqila (male relatives on the father's side) must pay the blood money to the heirs. In this case, the father inherits the blood money alone, not the child's sister. If the father waives his right to the blood money, that is an act of forgiveness and reconciliation.
