It is not within the scope of this website to evaluate individuals, nor should a Muslim preoccupy himself with such matters. Rather, he should take the verse from the Almighty's saying, "So give good tidings to My servants those who listen to the Word and follow the best of it. Those are the ones whom Allah has guided, and those are the ones possessed of understanding," as a motto for himself when listening to scholars and preachers, and inquire about whatever is unclear to him.
