Is acid rain pure and purifying?

Acid rain does not affect the purity of rainwater and does not remove its ruling, for the original ruling is that rainwater is pure and purifying. The contamination of rainwater in the atmospheric air by emissions from the earth does not affect its ruling, because it is difficult to guard against. Many scholars have explicitly stated that water whose color, taste, or smell has changed due to something that is normally associated with it, or due to prolonged stagnation, or due to its natural sediment, is still considered purifying.
