Is it incumbent upon us to make up the fast of the first day of Ramadan if we broke our fast according to the timing of Mecca in a region whose timing differs from that of Mecca?

It is necessary to make up the fast if it becomes clear that one broke the fast before sunset, or if one broke the fast while doubting the sunset and the matter did not become clear thereafter; because the original presumption is the continuation of the day.
