Is it permissible to buy from a seller who describes his store as the largest or his merchandise as the best in the market?

If the seller's statement, "My shop is the biggest and has the best goods in the market," is truthful, then there is no harm in it. However, if it is a lie, then it is a great sin, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "And indeed, lying leads to wickedness, and indeed, wickedness leads to the Hellfire. And a man continues to lie until he is recorded with Allah as a great liar." Furthermore, he misses out on the reward of the truthful and trustworthy merchant who will be with the prophets, the truthful ones, and the martyrs. In any case, there is no harm in buying from him.
