What is the ruling on Zakat paid to hospitals that treat the rich and the poor, after it has been paid collectively upon receipt of inheritance?

It is necessary to transfer ownership of Zakat to the poor person. Therefore, paying it to hospitals and the like is not sufficient, and your liability for the Zakat due from you has not been discharged. What is incumbent upon you is to pay it again by transferring its ownership to the deserving poor person.
