Is it permissible to sever ties of kinship if relatives hate me and verbally abuse me, and is kinship a right of Allah or of creation?

Upholding ties of kinship is an obligation and a right due to Allah and from a relative to their kin. Islamic law has encouraged it even towards those who sever them. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The one who maintains ties of kinship is not the one who reciprocates, but the one who maintains ties of kinship is he who, when his relatives cut him off, he connects with them." And whoever maintains ties with their relatives while they cut him off, it is as if he is feeding them hot ash, and he will continue to have a supporter from Allah against them. A mother does not have the right to prevent her child from upholding ties of kinship, nor is she to be obeyed in that, because obedience is only in what is good and permissible. If the aunt severs ties and harms with her tongue and prevents visits, then she is severing kinship ties, and she must be connected with in a way that does not harm the one upholding the ties.
