A woman is a man's sister, and she shares with him in religious obligations, except that the Shari'ah has lightened some of them for her, out of consideration for her creation. It has also charged her with tasks that a man cannot perform, such as raising children and managing family affairs. A woman's role in society is vast; she is the nurturing mother, the teacher and the student. She enjoins good and forbids evil, and she strives to meet the needs of her fellow women. Her role is fundamental to the well-being of society.
