Can an usurious loan be the cause of a taxi breaking down, and what should one do in this situation?

Borrowing with interest (riba) is forbidden, regardless of whether the interest is high or low, because Allah, the Almighty, says: "O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of interest, if you should be believers" (Quran 2:278). This is also because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, cursed the one who consumes riba and the one who feeds it to others. The borrower who engaged in riba must repent and return the principal amount of the loan without interest, if possible. If forced to pay the interest, the sin is on the one who compelled him. Any hardship the borrower experiences may be due to the ill effects of disobedience, as sins deprive one of sustenance. The remedy for this is repentance.
