Is it permissible to drink water all at once when thirsty?

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade breathing into drinks and breathing into vessels. If one wishes to breathe, they should remove the cup from their mouth and then breathe. It is permissible to drink in one breath, but the prohibition is against breathing inside the vessel. The Sunnah is to drink in three breaths, as this brings pleasure, satisfaction, and healing.
