Is the issue of interpreting the verses and hadiths of the Attributes, such as the verses of the eye and the hand, and the hadiths of the foot and "Allah created Adam in His image," considered among the fundamentals of creed upon which disbelief or faith depends? And what is the most just and clearest of sayings regarding it?

This issue is one of the fundamentals of creed, and a Muslim must follow the methodology of the Salaf concerning it, believing God and His Messenger in what they have informed us about God's attributes, and having faith in what has been established in the two revelations without distortion, allegorical interpretation, anthropomorphism, or asking "how." For the methodology of the Salaf is the most just and clearest of statements.
