Is there a proven supplication or prayer for the responsiveness of prayer?

Supplication (Du'a) is the essence of worship. Among the supplications that are answered is the "supplication of Dhul-Nun": "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers." And the supplication of a Muslim to Allah using His Greatest Name (Al-Ism Al-A'zham): "O Allah, I ask You, for all praise is due to You; there is no deity except You, the Bestower, the Originator of the heavens and the earth, O Possessor of Majesty and Honor, O Ever-Living, O Self-Subsisting, I ask You."

There are times when supplications are answered, including: during prostration (sujud), during a specific hour on Friday, and during the last third of the night.

One must be persistent in supplication and not hasten the response. There are also impediments to the acceptance of supplication, including: consuming unlawful (haram) food and drink, wearing unlawful clothing, and supplicating for sin or for the severance of kinship ties.
