1. Is this marriage valid? 2. Is this fetus, when it comes into the world, permissible or forbidden? 3. And what should this husband do? 4. What should the legitimate wife, who has two children, do? Should she inform any of her family or his family about what happened?

This marriage is invalid by consensus because it is without a guardian (wali) and witnesses. This relationship must be immediately dissolved, accompanied by repentance to Allah. As for the child resulting from this relationship, he is attributed to the father if the father believed the contract to be permissible and the enjoyment lawful at the time of the contract, as he is excused due to ignorance.
