Is it permissible to combine the Dhuhr and Asr prayers by performing them earlier (jama' taqdim) in an Islamic school, to ensure that students perform the Asr prayer in congregation before they leave, and to avoid them missing it?

It is not permissible to combine the Asr prayer with the Dhuhr prayer for students who are residents unless certain conditions are met, such as rain, illness, or genuine hardship in not combining them, provided that this does not become a habit. Students can be encouraged to perform it before leaving school, reminded to perform it at home immediately upon arrival, and parents can be contacted to remind them of the importance of prayer. Combining prayers is permissible when there is genuine hardship, such as distant homes or the inability to wait at school, and this applies only to those who truly experience such hardship, provided that it does not become a regular habit.
