What is the nisab for Zakat on paper currency, how much is the Zakat on an amount of 35,000 Saudi Riyals, and is it permissible to postpone Zakat for one month?

The nisab for banknotes is estimated at the value of 85 grams of gold or 595 grams of silver. If the amount reaches this nisab and a full hawl (lunar year) passes, zakat becomes obligatory, and its amount is one-quarter of one-tenth (2.5%). It is not permissible to delay zakat beyond its due time except for a legitimate Shar’i excuse.
