Is there an authentic Hadith from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, indicating that collecting rainwater and reciting Al-Fatihah, Ayat al-Kursi, Al-Kafirun, Al-Falaq, Al-Ikhlas, and Al-Nas—each seventy times—along with the Salawat al-Ibrahimiyah before and after, and then drinking this water, cures every illness except death? And is there an authentic Hadith from him commanding the recitation of Al-Fatihah seventy times over the site of pain for healing?

There is no prophetic hadith in this context, nor has it been mentioned by scholars. It is circulated by some who lack knowledge and do not refrain from lying. As for seeking healing with Al-Fatiha, there is no basis for it in the manner mentioned, although the principle of seeking healing with it is established. As for seeking healing with Surahs Al-Kafirun, Al-Falaq, and An-Nas, there are hadiths indicating their use. The methods mentioned, which have not been authentically reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, are superseded by what Muslim narrated from Uthman ibn Abi Al-Aas Al-Thaqafi, who complained to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about pain. The Prophet told him: "(Place your hand on the part of your body that hurts and say: Bismillah (In the name of Allah) – three times – and then say seven times: A'udhu billahi wa qudratihi min sharri ma ajidu wa uhadhir (I seek refuge in Allah and His power from the evil of what I find and what I fear))."
