Is it permissible to declare the senior Companions, such as the two 'Umars, as disbelievers, given the disagreements that occurred among them and the accusations of injustice leveled against them by some?

Denouncing the two Sheikhs and the senior Companions is a grave evil, which may lead its perpetrator to disbelief that expels him from the fold of Islam. This is because it contradicts what is established in the Holy Quran concerning the testimony of faith and precedence in good deeds for the Muhajirun and the Ansar. Abu Bakr and Umar and the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, are the first whom these texts encompass, and Allah chose them to accompany His Prophet and support His religion. They are the best of generations, and they have great merit over the Ummah. The scholars have unanimously agreed upon the uprightness of the Companions, and that slandering them is a sign of heresy and an attempt to invalidate the Sharia. The evidence for the merit of the two Sheikhs is abundant in the Quran and Sunnah, and the testimony of the Companions and the Tabi'in to their merit and justice has been established. As for the disagreements that occurred among the Companions, they do not affect their uprightness, for all of them sought the truth.
