Naming someone "Munib" (one who turns to God in repentance) is disliked because it implies self-praise (tazkiyat al-nafs). Ibn al-Qayyim explicitly stated the dislike of naming with names that carry this meaning, such as "al-Taqi" (the pious) and "al-Mukhlis" (the sincere). As for the name "Sanad" (support), it does not carry the meaning of self-praise but rather indicates reliance, so there is no objection to naming with it.
