If the husband dies and leaves behind only his wife and two paternal uncles (higher in lineage), then the wife receives one-fourth as her prescribed share (fard) due to the absence of children. The remainder goes to the two paternal uncles equally by residuary right (ta'sib). The children of the higher paternal uncles are excluded by complete deprivation (hajb hirman). Then, the share of the deceased wife is distributed among her siblings by residuary right (ta'sib), with the male receiving the equivalent of the share of two females.
