What should I do about making up the missed days from the previous Ramadan and the current Ramadan, given my current illness, which may prevent me from fasting in the future?

The sick person should consult a trustworthy doctor. If the illness is curable, then after recovery, they must make up the days they missed fasting in the current and previous Ramadans, based on the Almighty’s saying: (But whoever is ill or on a journey, then [let him fast] an equal number of other days). However, if the illness is chronic and incurable, then they must feed a poor person for each day they missed fasting in the current and previous Ramadans, based on the Almighty’s saying: (And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] - a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person). The sick person whose recovery is not hoped for is treated the same as the elderly person who is unable to fast.
