Is it permissible to take money from acquaintances who wish to trade with it, and then give it to a trustworthy merchant in exchange for a share of the profits?
It is not permissible for a worker in Mudarabah (profit-sharing) to give the capital to another person to engage in Mudarabah with it, and for the worker to take the difference between the two percentages, unless the owner of the capital gives him permission to do so. If the worker lends the capital to another person without the owner's permission, he is liable for the capital, and the profit belongs to the owner of the capital and the second worker.
