Is it permissible for a Muslim young man to marry a Coptic Christian girl?

The young man should be mindful of himself and repent to his Lord, knowing that true loss is disobedience to Allah. Let him beware of his Lord's punishment, and let him know that it is preferable for a Muslim to marry a Muslim woman for compatibility. Allah has not permitted a Muslim to marry disbelieving women except the People of the Book, and that is with conditions. As for you specifically, we do not advise you to marry this woman because you are at the prime of your youth and not armed with religious knowledge, in addition to your intense love for her, which we fear may divert you from your religion. This type of love may be followed by a cooling off, and if you leave her after she has given birth to your child, you will have wasted your child. We urge you to fear Allah and to prioritize His pleasure above all else.
