Is resemblance based on one of the relatives of the man or the woman if their seminal fluid precedes [the other's], and does the Hadith mean that the newborn does not carry shared traits from the mother and the father?

It is established that resemblance can be to the father or his relatives, and to the mother or her relatives. In Sahih Muslim, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "If her fluid dominates the man's fluid, the child will resemble its maternal uncles. And if the man's fluid dominates hers, it will resemble its paternal uncles."
