Is constantly thinking about expecting bad things to happen, such as dying before marriage or contracting a serious illness, forbidden after three months have passed since the father's death and being unable to control such thoughts? And what is the difference between questions sent for consultation and questions sent for a fatwa?

There is no harm in remembering death and preparing for it, and there is no harm in thinking about or fearing affliction. However, it is preferable not to dwell on these thoughts too much, lest they disturb the serenity of life and cause anxiety. A Muslim should have a good opinion of Allah and maintain the prescribed remembrances (adhkar). It is recommended to occupy the mind with what is beneficial, such as knowledge, righteous deeds, or permissible recreation, and to beware of isolation. As for the questions sent for fatwas, they are those that inquire about a ruling or a religious matter, or about the explanation of a verse or a hadith.
