What is the ruling on postponing Hajj due to the unavailability of a mahram or its expenses?

A woman is not obligated to perform Hajj unless she has a mahram who agrees to travel with her, and his expenses are obligatory upon him, as he is part of her path. There is no age a woman reaches where she no longer needs a mahram.
