If the proxy is trustworthy and righteous, then his word is to be accepted regarding what he claims to have spent on passport fees, visa, transportation, food, drink, and laundry. These expenses must be paid from the deceased's estate. The Hajj is valid and fulfills the obligation, and the responsibility remains with the heirs if they fall short in giving the proxy his due rights.
