Expiation is only required for expiations whose necessity you are certain of, because the original principle is the absolution of one's liability. As long as you intended the expiation for an oath, this is sufficient for you, whether you specified the expiated oath or not. You are not required to redo anything from the expiations. So, as long as you have performed three expiations, and the confirmed number of oaths due from you was three, then your liability has been absolved.
