Is sitting near graves awaiting the funeral or the burial of the deceased the same in reward as walking with it from the mosque?

"Whoever attends the funeral prayer will have a qirat. And whoever attends it until it is buried will have two qirats, the smallest of which is like Mount Uhud. And whoever leaves his home with the funeral procession, prays over it, and then follows it until it is buried, will have two qirats, each qirat like Uhud. And whoever prays over it and then returns will have a reward like Uhud. The best is to walk in front of the جنازة (funeral procession), which is the view of the majority of scholars. Abu Hanifa, however, held that walking behind it is better.

As for someone who does not accompany the جنازة but goes ahead of it to the place of prayer, there is no harm in that, but he misses out on the virtue of following it.

The reward of two qirats includes whoever attends from the deceased's house, or at least whoever attends the prayer. The qirat multiplies with the number of funeral prayers."
