Is it obligatory to address the husband as "Abd al-Wafi" or is it permissible to suffice with "Al-Wafi"?

The name "Al-Wafi" was mentioned among the Beautiful Names of Allah in a weak hadith. Consequently, many scholars dislike naming someone "Abd Al-Wafi" (Servant of the All-Fulfilling) because this name has not been authentically established for Allah Almighty. One should address someone named with this name as "Al-Wafi" without the definite article, or, more cautiously, as "Wafi" without the definite article.
