Does divorce occur if the wife starts working after the husband swore by triple divorce that she would not work?

If a man swears an oath of divorce upon his wife that she should not work, the fatwa dictates that divorce occurs three times if she works, and this is the opinion of most scholars.

However, Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah holds the view that divorce does not occur, and an expiation for an oath (kaffarat yamin) becomes obligatory if the husband did not intend to effect a divorce, but rather intended to prevent or emphasize. If he did intend to effect a divorce, then only one divorce occurs. He may also retract the condition and permit her to work, in which case neither divorce occurs nor is an expiation required.
