Is it obligatory to perform ablution with the intention of purification from madhy after its emission, then perform ablution for prayer, or is it considered merely a nullifier of ablution?
He who has madhy (pre-seminal fluid) exit from him is not required to perform ablution with the intention of purification from it. Rather, the one performing ablution should intend to remove impurity (hadath), or to perform the obligatory ablution, or to make permissible what is not permissible without it. What the questioner is doing is more than what is Islamically required. A single ablution with the aforementioned intention is sufficient for him. Madhy is impure and invalidates ablution. The method of purifying it has been mentioned in a previous fatwa.
