Does a religion of public interests delay entry into Paradise like a private religion?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, warned against debt in general, but he gave glad tidings to whoever borrows with the intention of repaying, that Allah will help him. And if he dies without repaying, Allah will settle the debt on his behalf in the Hereafter. This promise is conditioned upon the sincerity of intention. So, if your intention is sincere in charitable works and seeking Allah's pleasure, and your intention is to repay the debts when it becomes easy, then we hope that debt will not be a cause for you to be barred from Paradise.
