How can a woman verify the cessation of her menstrual period if she continues to experience yellowish discharge after 6 or 7 days from the start of menstruation? And should verification be done at the beginning of every prayer time, or twice for each prayer time, and before sleeping? What is meant by "dawn" (al-subh)? And is dryness, with the presence of colorless moisture or a slight yellowish tinge, considered purity, or must one wait for the complete disappearance of the yellowish discharge?

If blood continues throughout the month, then all that the woman sees is menstruation. If she sees a yellowish discharge, she should perform ghusl and pray as long as it continues, and she is considered to be in a state of istihada (non-menstrual bleeding). She should perform ablution for each prayer after its time has begun and pray as much as she wishes. Checking for purity at the time of Fajr prayer should be done before its time expires to ascertain ritual purity. If she sees dryness or a yellow color, she is considered pure and must perform ghusl.
