Is it permissible to play music for the wife to dance to, knowing that singing and music are forbidden?

What has been mentioned is not a valid justification for listening to forbidden music, as it is neither a necessity nor an urgent need. Satan often tempts a person into believing that happiness and comfort can only be achieved through forbidden means, making them forget that such enjoyment is fleeting and leaves no lasting pleasure. The wise person is one who does not cling to forbidden things, for whoever abandons something for the sake of Allah, Allah will replace it with something better; as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, you will not abandon anything for the sake of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, except that Allah will replace it with something better for you." As for lyrical words without music, there is no harm in them, with restrictions mentioned in previous fatwas.
