Does Istikhara indicate the permissibility of continuing a romantic relationship until the completion of studies for the purpose of marriage?

A Muslim must beware of forbidden relationships with foreign women, such as love affairs and meetings that may lead to touching, kissing, or indecency. Therefore, cut off your relationship with this girl and repent to Allah. If your love for her is permissible by شرع (Islamic law) and your goal is to marry her, and she is religious and of good character, then there is no harm in it. Strive to marry her or contract with her temporarily; otherwise, turn away from her, for what Allah chooses is best. Istikhara (prayer for guidance) is not for sinful matters but only for permissible ones.
