Intellectual property rights are a matter of dispute among scholars, and the fatwa issued is that they are to be considered absolutely. Whoever believes them to be forbidden is not permitted to violate them or to obey anyone who commands him to do so, even if that person is a relative, because there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator.
In the case of problems with the father, they can be considered [a necessity] if they reach the level of necessity, such as painful beating and harmful imprisonment, unlike insults and reprimands, which can be endured.
