Is it permissible for a Muslim to follow the funeral procession of his non-Muslim mother or his disbelieving maternal uncles?

It is advisable to continue inviting the mother to Islam while treating her with kindness, as stated in the verse: "But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them, but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness." It is permissible for a Muslim to follow the funeral procession of their disbelieving relatives and bury them.
