What is the ruling regarding my fasting if I feel water rising from my stomach to my mouth, and I doubt whether it has passed my throat, then I try to expel it and swallow my saliva mixed with this water, and what is the ruling regarding my fasting if this happens repeatedly and I am certain that the water has passed my throat and I swallow a part of it?
Your fast is not invalidated by what you swallowed involuntarily and were unable to expel; for Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity. The basic principle is not to swallow anything that invalidates the fast unless you are certain it is an invalidator, for doubt does not remove certainty.
